A business that makes air conditioners was facing issues with their robotic machines that automated the punching, forming, shearing, laser cutting and bending of metal sheets used in their production process. These issues were limiting the benefits of automation, with staff having to manually log in each morning to export a report on the previous day’s production to perform analysis and review issues.

The production team needed to perform analysis and resolve issues during the production process.

The extraction of the data was automated and loaded into a data warehouse every 15 minutes. They built Power BI visualisations of the production process available 24/7 to the production team on the production floor. The production team could now access the analysis on-demand that allowed them to fix the inefficiencies of their robotic production processes in near real-time.
