Sales and Daily Commission Dashboard with Automation

A precious metals organisation with three businesses offering both services and products was wasting valuable management resources with the manual consolidation of data from two different ERP systems.

One of the ERP’s was a legacy file-based database that did not retain historical data and automatically deleted at the beginning of each month. The general manager was to spend a full day every month extracting and consolidating this data before its deletion. The business had the tools to automate these data processes and build powerful analytics, but not the know-how.

They leveraged external data engineering and analytical expertise to quickly develop an automated data warehouse, Power BI visualisation for sales, commission dashboarding and reporting. With reports and dashboards now updating daily and accessible via mobile devices in the field, sales representatives and the general manager could more effectively drive actions to grow sales and margins across the three businesses.
